Job Vacancy – IT Support Officer

Job Summary / Purpose

The purpose of the role is to provide IT administrative support services.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Third party UL account management in respective Service Management Tool.
  • Sage Purchase to Pay process administration i.e. raising Purchase Requests through to receipting process.
  • Support to Legacy and Heritage application services e.g. Easyway, HMIS, Weighbridge, etc.
  • Ground support & safety supervision for Third Party working in the server room and network across the plantation.
  • Educating users on the different IT support channels for incident and request.
  • Incident management follow up and tracking through dailyyWeekly reports.
  • Provide basic IT training on Office 365, One Drive, PowerPoint and advanced Excel, Mobile Apps and useful tips and drive user adoption on office productivity tools.
  • Software asset management and remediation removing exposure.
  • Mobile device setup – Intune & Unilever Applications.
  • Printer stock management and reporting.
  • Creation of relevant IT reports to support the functional operations.
  • Any other relevant IT administrative task e.g. VIP visit support.

KPIs:

  •   Improved adoption for self-service tools and MS Office.
  • User logging of incidents for issues encountered with 80% ticket resolution within SLA.
  • Service improvements identified and tracked with clear plan to resolve.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  1. Minimum education level: Degree in IT related field e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
  2. Desirable experience: ITIL V3 Fou ndation or higher and Networking certification e.g. CCNA, CCNP, server management, other relevant certifications in IT field. Sage X3 ERP knowledge would be an advantage.
  3. 2-3 years’ experience working with IT ^sterns – good working knowledge of appropriate IT software programs e.g. MS 0365 Office suite -Excel, Power Bl, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  4. Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Demonstrated ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
  6. Strong working ethics -integrity.
  7. Focused on continuous improvements.
  8. Highly motivated and maintains a high working standard.
  9. No Criminal Record.

Stakeholders

Engagement with third party service providers for (e.g. printer, AC, network, and EC teams), business users, estate and factory management.
