Job Title: Safety and Risk Control Officer (1)
Location: SBC Dar es Salaam Plant, Vingunguti/Kwalami Dar es Salaam. Tanzania

Reports To: Risk and Control Manager
Position Type: Full-Time
Objective: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety and Risk Control Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our manufacturing operations. We are particularly interested in female candidates to help balance gender representation within our team

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
• Provide safety and security training to employees. ensuring compliance with OSHA Municipal, and state regulations
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement preventive measures
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Collaborate with management to develop safety policies and procedures
• Maintain records of safety-related incidents and training sessions
• Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment ) ‘
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety. Environmental Science. or a related
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety and security role, preferably in a manufacturing
environment
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or,similar certification is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bold and tough in the execution of duties, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred:
