Accounts Assistant Job Vacancy at Content+Cloud

Description

Purchase Ledger:

Daily electronically saving, and sorting of invoices for approval
Processing of invoices in Sage
Reconciling supplier statements
Posting and reconciling of credit card expenses
Ensuring all anti-virus, anti-spam, Office365, Datto and internet lines, domains and SSL certificate invoices received are sent to billing team as required
Dealing with queries with suppliers
Working with the procurement team to resolve queries where POs don’t match to invoices
Setting up monthly supplier payment runs ready for approval
Sending supplier remittances as required
Monitoring emails received into the central account mailbox and onto the Accounts board in Connectwise
Actioning emails as appropriate and checking nothing is not dealt with within 1 working day of receipt of the email
Ensure new supplier forms received for new suppliers
Checking of D&B reports for new suppliers
Inputting new supplier information into Sage
Raising and sending of invoices to customers
Ad-hoc analysis / Sage downloads as requested by management of the business
Customer billing of ad hoc work as required

Accounts communications

Ensure new supplier forms received for new suppliers

Sales Ledger – holiday cover as required and other Ad-hoc duties

Requirements

Desirable:

Purchase ledger experience
Working knowledge of Sage 200 or similar accounts package
Accounting qualification up to AAT

Essential

Intermediate Excel skills
Good attention to detail
Good organisational skills
Good communication skills
Able to manage changing workload and priorities
Able to work both within a team and using own initiative
