Asilia lodges and Camps Ltd is looking for a Competent and hardworking Tanzanian to fill a position of Airport Concierge and Lounge Supervisor.  We are looking for a person who is competent in Hosting and Service delivery with a strong combination of Leadership, Decision-making and a very good broad knowledge culture and General operations tourism industry.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

                Daily Duties

  1. Guest Arrival & Check-In:
  • Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with luggage, and ensure smooth flight check-in processes.
  • Provide a friendly and professional first impression to all guests.
  1. Hosting & Transit Assistance:
  • Host guests in the lounge, ensuring they are comfortable while waiting for their flights.
  • Support transit guests by guiding them to connecting flights and assisting with any needs.
  1. Lounge Management:
  • Ensure the lounge is clean, organized, and well-stocked with amenities like refreshments and reading materials.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly.
  1. Flight Coordination:
  • Communicate guest flight details, including arrivals and departures, with relevant camps and operational teams.
  • Liaise with airline representatives to address flight-related needs.
  1. Flight Bookings:
  • Book and confirm flights for staff traveling to/from camps or other destinations.
  • Compile and reconcile all staff and management flight bookings, submitting reports to the finance department
  1. Transfer Assistance:
  • Arrange and confirm transfer bookings for guests and staff to/from the airport, ensuring smooth logistics.
  1. Operational Support:
  • Assist in field operations and administrative duties during low seasons or as needed.
  • Provide backup support for operational emergencies and guest-related concerns.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in English (other languages will be added an advantage)
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and Punctual
  • Commitment to a high level of customer service
  • Minimum of a Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.
  • Proven experience in guest relations, concierge services, or airport management (2- 3 years).
  • Previous experience in luxury tourism/hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with efficiency and discretion
  • Age limit 28-35yrs.

    • Familiarity with airport logistics, travel itineraries, and basic computer systems.
  6. Languages
    • Fluency in English and Swahili; additional languages are a bonus.
  7. Interpersonal Communication
    • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and teams.
  8. Attention to Detail
    • Ensuring a seamless guest experience by anticipating their needs.
  9. Time Management
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities under pressure.
