The Role Reports to: Regional Technical Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for installations, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance of In-Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS) using advanced diagnostic tools.
Key Responsibilities
v Installation & Maintenance: Install and maintain vehicle tracking and fleet management units.
v Diagnostics & Repairs: Identify and fix electrical and mechanical issues.
v Technical Support: Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot IVMS-related problems.
v Safety Compliance: Ensure all installations meet industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
v Degree/Diploma in Automotive Engineering (Electrical Option).
v 2-3 years of experience in automotive wiring.
v Proficient in computer operations.
v Valid rider’s license and willingness to ride within Dar-es-alaam.
v Strong teamwork, flexibility, and communication skills (English & Kiswahili).
v Ability to work under pressure and overtime when necessary.
