Burhani Power Engineers is looking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our construction team. As a Site Engineer, you will oversee and manage construction projects on-site, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and project timelines. You will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with various teams.

Duties:

• Provide technical expertise and support during project planning, design, and construction phases.

• Interpret and review project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure compliance with design requirements.

• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution

• Manage and supervise construction activities on-site, including monitoring progress, quality control, and safety compliance.

• Conduct regular inspections to assess construction quality, identify deficiencies, and propose corrective actions.

• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment required for construction activities.

• Review and approve method statements, work procedures, and other project-related documents to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.

• To ensure budgetary compliance, monitor and control project costs, including materials, labour, and equipment.

• Coordinate with local authorities, utility companies, and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

• Prepare and maintain accurate project records, including daily progress reports, site diaries, and as-built drawings.

• Address and resolve any technical issues, conflicts, or delays that arise during construction.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site, promoting a culture of safety among the construction team.

• Participate in project meetings, providing updates on on-site activities, progress, and any potential issues.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to construction engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or a similar role in the construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes/regulations.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

• Familiarity with construction software, project management tools, and AutoCAD.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

• Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and motivate construction personnel.

• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to construction sites.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.

• Willingness to work on-site and travel to various project locations as required.
