Serengeti Explorer is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage services. In this role, you will support the Food  and  Beverage  Manager  in  ensuring  the  highest  standards  of service, quality, and guest satisfaction across all dining and bar areas.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering extraordinary guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth daily functions.
• Supervise, train, and motivate F&B team members to provide excellent service and maintain high operational standards.
• Ensure all service areas are fully stocked and operational, including the restaurant, bars, and room service.
• Manage guest  inquiries  and  complaints  promptly  and  professionally  to  ensure  guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and control the quality of food and beverages served, ensuring consistency and adherence to company standards.
• Assist in menu planning, pricing, and the development of new offerings in collaboration with the culinary team.
• Handle inventory  management,  including  tracking  stock  levels,  ordering  supplies,  and maintaining accurate records.
• Ensure compliance  with  health  and  safety  regulations,  including  food  safety,  hygiene standards, and operational procedures.
• Manage labor costs, schedules, and operational budgets to meet financial targets.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual reports for management, including sales, performance, and inventory audits.
• Work closely with other departments (Housekeeping, Front Office, etc.) to ensure seamless coordination of services and guest experiences.
• Organize and support special events, private functions, and themed nights, ensuring all F&B needs are met.
• Lead by example, fostering a positive and productive team environment that focuses on excellent service and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage operations, ideally in a luxury or high-end environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage, train, and inspire a team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of F&B industry trends, inventory management, and budgeting.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A strong  understanding  of  food  and  beverage  service  standards,  health  and  safety regulations, and customer service excellence.
• Proficiency in using F&B management software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Full Hotel Management and any related in Hospitality Course
• Computer skills and Proficiency
