Established 74 years ago, the organization works to protect and care for children who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it. It operates globally, with 135 locations in countries such as Zanzibar, Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, and Iringa. SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania seeks qualified candidates for the following positions:

Job Title: Gender and Youth Coordinator

Duty Station: National Office – Dar es Salaam
Reporting to: Head of Programs

Job Summary: The Youth and Gender Coordinator supports youth development programs, ensuring gender-sensitive approaches are integrated into all activities, focusing on equality, empowerment, and employability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop youth care options with gender-sensitive assessments.
• Implement career guidance programs focusing on gender equality.
• Promote youth autonomy, independence, and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Youth Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in youth care with a gender-sensitive approach.
• Proficiency in social work, community development, and child rights.
