You + The Challenge
Are you an ambitious, energetic knowledgeable Service Desk Engineer looking for an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding International Managed Service Provider (MSP)?
Clued up when it comes to ensuring Service Level Agreements (“SLAs”) are met and so troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting a wide range of systems is just as important to you as answering queries and complaints, reporting client-facing risks and customer feedback?
The role offers fantastic growth opportunities – work hard, learn as you go and work your way up the support ladder with a great team support structure. You’ll be engaging with a range of clients, so the ideal candidate needs to be well spoken and an excellent communicator.
The role itself involves remote support and escalation to the senior support team. You’ll be representing the business, so the responsibility is on your shoulders to provide a professional and positive first impression whilst ensuring a reliable resolution of customer technical issues when raised via the client’s help desk.
You’re well aware of what your daily duties may look like and what follows are the systems you’re able to work with and where you’ll showcase your IT skills this is the kind of knowledge and qualifications you would need:
- Microsoft Windows Server (Intermediate level)
- Microsoft Office 365 (Intermediate level)
- Microsoft Office Exchange (Intermediate level)
- Active Directory (Intermediate level)
- Firewalls, Router & VPN Technologies
- Networking Technologies
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Intune
- IITL Foundation
Must have technical knowledge supporting previous clients using: Firewalls / Palo Alto; Qualys; SQL Server Management; LogMeIn; SolarWinds; Mimecast; Sophos Anti-Virus; ForcePoint Web filter
You`ve got the Formal IT qualification but it’s not just about being tech-savvy, if you’re wanting to learn and are willing to gain relevant qualifications and accreditation’s, ultimately, you’ll be developing your IT skills and we’ll be happy to help you achieve this.
It’s a fast-paced environment and there is constant activity, but with your ability to prioritise, provide, work to deadlines under pressure, your customer relations skills to understand client/client representative’s concerns and requirements remain solid.
