About the role

This is an opportunity to take responsibility for supporting our great culture and office environment, and creating a great office experience for the rest of our team. Working closely with our CEO, you’ll get to own various people operations and office management processes that are essential to our functioning as a business. You’ll have constant opportunities to design and improve our internal processes. Tasks in the role will include invoicing and supplier management, organising company events and travel, coordination of recruitment processes, and new employee onboarding.

Requirements

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you meet the following requirements:

  • University degree
  • 1+ years work experience in an operational or administrative role
  • Experience working in an agency, startup, consulting or other customer facing environment
  • Based in Cape Town
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Good Excel / Google sheets skills
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written English – spelling, grammar, proofreading skills
