A fantastic and unique opportunity has been developed to join Houst as our new People Business Partner. Reporting directly into the Head of People and Culture (who is based in our London HQ), you will be responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle for all members of staff globally. From recruitment to HR policy development you will be touching every area of HR across the business. You will also be assisting with the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives. There is significant scope with this role for a driven and creative individual to really make their mark and help us rebuild the People and Culture Team post pandemic.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with line management and provide HR guidance
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Support with the development of HR policies and procedures and offer guidance to employees
  • Maintain HR procedures that comply with country specific labor regulations across all of our region
  • Assist in recruiting, training and management of employees
  • Manage and administer payroll globally
  • Suggest new HR strategic initiatives
  • Plan and conduct international recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
  • Assist in employee retention and development
  • Organize and maintain employee records
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and performance related official documentation
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
  • Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, annual leave and sickness)
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rate

People Business Partner Job Vacancy at Houst

Requirements

  • At least 4 years Human Resources experience
  • International experience in Human Resources supporting staff located across different regions globally
  • Experience in the management of payroll (ideally managing multi region payroll processes)
  • Proven work experience as an HR business partner
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Analytical and goal oriented
  • Thorough knowledge of employment legislation
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
  • Understanding of full cycle recruiting
  • Track record of supporting and implementing performance management processes
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing and interviewing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to foster healthy employee relations
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Experience with delivering remote “soft” and “professional skills” training whilst not essential would be a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (including payroll systems, HRIS and ATS)
  • BSc degree in Human Resources Management or Organizational Psychology a plus
