Job Title: Safari Guide / Driver
Location: Northern Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Manyara, Arusha National Parks)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Safari Guide/Driver to provide exceptional wildlife experiences across Northern Tanzania’s top national parks. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in leading safaris, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, safety, and conservation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided safari tours, offering insightful information about wildlife, landscapes, and local cultures.
• Safely operate and maintain safari vehicles, ensuring guest comfort and safety on various terrains.
• Plan and execute game drives based on guest preferences while adhering to park regulations.
• Educate guests about conservation efforts and ensure respectful wildlife interactions.
• Assist guests with photography and wildlife tracking techniques.
• Perform minor vehicle repairs and report any major mechanical issues.
• Provide first aid in case of emergencies.
• Create an engaging and informative atmosphere to ensure a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Safari Guide/Driver in Northern Tanzania.
• Valid Tanzania driving license (Category C) with Defensive Driving certification.
• Certification from the Tanzania Tour Guides Association (TTGA) or an equivalent body is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of East African wildlife, ecosystems, and bird species.
• Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of French, German, or Spanish is an advantage.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
• Physically fit and capable of working long hours in demanding outdoor conditions.

• Enthusiastic and personable with a passion for wildlife and conservation.
• Strong storytelling and guest engagement skills.
• Experience working with international and VIP guests.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation and radio communication systems.
