Sales Representative Job Description
BCR Printers Limited would be nowhere without its successful sales team. We’re seeking a qualified sales representative to help sell the products and services that our customers rely on. The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations and attending networking events and trade shows, the sales representative must be both personable and professional.

Objectives of this role
- Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers.
- Achieve weekly,monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
- Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers.
- Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field.
Responsibilities
- To own,monitor and drive all business unit sales activities of customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified and nurtured through the sales pipeline to close profitable and sustainable customer deals.
- To align your sales efforts with Sales Manager, pricing and printing business development teams, including pricing decisions.
- To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products.
- To align with your reporting manager when onboarding new customers. Setting up the right structure for a successful partnership (credit facilities, Standard Operating Procedure and other operational alignments) before starting business with new customers.
- To maintain and update the most relevant customer information in internal systems.
- To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention and reactivation through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with the rest of the sales team.
- To visit at least 20 customers per Month, 50% of which must be new. Aim to develop and strengthen customer relationship as well as business development.
- Visit existing customer with the CEO or Sales Manager in order to enhance customer experience and relationship development.
- To prepare at least 50 quotations per month 50% to target the new business/clients.
- To prepare at least 50 opportunities per month, 50% for new clients, 100% must be through Quotation Tool.
- To prepare and participate in any tender opportunities within the customer portfolio provided.
- Create and manage a healthy customer/ opportunity pipeline and align a weekly catch up, market and pipeline update calls / meetings.
- Communicate and co-ordinate specific customer requirements including Request for quote with the company.
- Determine and follow the sales strategy on focused accounts in line with the Sales Manager.
- Aggressively penetrate the market through sales leads and direction from business development, capture additional customer and market intelligence including contacting fellow peers at BCR Printers Limited.
- Possess in-depth service and product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle
objections.
- Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other required documentation for executive-level presentations.
Required skills and qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration.
- Two or more years of sales experience preferably within the printing industry.
- Ability to reach and exceed sales targets
- Professional selling and problem solving skills.
- Persuasive speaking, empathy, adaptability and ability to use positive language.
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
- Fluent in Kiswahili and English languages
