Silverleaf Academy is a growing network of affordable private schools in Tanzania, providing quality education to children aged 2-14 from lower-middle-income families. Our mission is to deliver exceptional academic and life skills education. Silverleaf currently operates one campus in Usa River with 400 students, aiming to expand to 1,000 by January 2025.
Role Overview:
The School Manager will lead the transformation of Silverleaf’s Usa River campus into a top-performing school. This role oversees school culture, academic programs, staff development, and community relations. The Manager is responsible for ensuring academic excellence, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead school culture and team development by setting a vision, conducting weekly coaching, and professional development sessions.
- Oversee student experience, including academic performance, behavior management, and co-curricular activities.
- Ensure operational efficiency, enrollment growth, and financial sustainability.
- Build relationships with parents, local communities, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with child protection policies and legal standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, School Administration, or related field.
- 2-5 years of school leadership experience.
- Proven track record in managing operations, academic oversight, and staff development.
- Strong community engagement and familiarity with educational technologies.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
