The role:
- Work on real-world projects for SA’s leading banks and retailers.
- Customer-centric development role.
- Exposure to a fast-paced environment while being guided and mentored by some of SA’s leading payments technologists.
- Attend workshops to increase your knowledge of the payments industry and Java development.
- Exposure to technologies such as: Java, MySQL, InnoDB, Git, Maven, Circle CI, Python, Bash, Ansible, JavaScript, Node.js, SOAP, REST, React and AWS.
Requirements
- Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification through UCT or Stellenbosch University.
- Achieved a minimum of 65% for Computer Science modules with no failures.
- Good understanding of Object-Orientated Java Programming.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
