VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Food for His Children (FFHC) is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to serve as volunteers.

• Location: Karatu, Arusha
• Commitment: Remotely, Part-time/flexible volunteer hours

• Allowance: Modest support for meals (four working day), accommodation, transport and communication.

1. Agriculture Officer / Specialist
Duties:

• Support in crop and livestock production projects

• Provide training families on sustainable agriculture

• Conduct farm visits and offer technical advice

Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, or a related field
• Experience in farming or community development is an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about helping rural families thrive

2. IT & Database Developer
Duties:

• Develop and manage databases

• Offer technical TT support to the team

• Assist in building and maintaining data systems and tools

Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of database management (e.g., MySQL, Access, etc.)
• Experience with system development or software tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
