INTRODUCTION Kigamboni District is made up of the Temeke Mother District and is one of the 5 Districts that make up the Dar es Salaam Region. Kigamboni District was established through Government Proclamation no. 462 of 2015 with the aim of moving services closer to the people. DISTRICT AREA Kigamboni District has an area of 577.9 square kilometers equivalent to 57,786.8 hectares and a Coastal belt with a length of 65 km. to the north it borders the Indian Ocean and to the west it borders Temeke District. POPULATION Following the 2012 Population and Housing Census Kigamboni District had a total population of 162,932 people and 40,133 households. Of these, 81,199 were males and 81,733 females. As of December 2019, Kigamboni District is estimated to have a population of 238,591 of whom 119,686 are women and 118,905 are men due to an increase of 5.6 percent per annum.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF CALL FOR INTERVIEW
The Director of Kigamboni Municipal Council announces to all citizens who have applied for a part-time job information gathering exercise at the Kigamboni Municipal Address exercise to attend an interview to be held on Sunday.
27/2/2022 starting at 7:00 am in the Culture Hall of Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial College at Kivukoni.
Things to consider: –
- Phone with android
- Original professional certificates recognized by the Government
- Birth certificate, NIDA ID or voter ID
- The results of the nominations will be available through the Kigamboni Municipal website (www.kigambonimc.go.tz) and on the notice boards of the Ward Office you have requested.
- Each interviewee will cover their own food, transport and other expenses
