The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) advertised 1,596 job vacancies in various fields from 06 to 19 February 2025, where 135,027 job applications were received. TRA has carefully reviewed all applications received and found 112,952 job applicants who met the criteria set and are therefore eligible to be called for a written interview which is expected to be held from 29 to 30 March 2025.
The names of the successful candidates has been announced on the TRA website (www.tra.go.tz) on 22/03/2025 and information will also be sent directly to each applicant via the email address used when applying for the job. Also, the date, place and time of the interview are indicated in the call.
The written selection interview will be held in 9 Regions as follows:- 1. Dar es Salaam which will involve applicants from Dar es Salaam and the Coast; 2. Zanzibar which will involve applicants from Unguja and Pemba; 3. Arusha which will involve applicants from Arusha, Manyara, Kilimanjaro and Tanga; 4. Dodoma which will involve applicants from Morogoro, Dodoma, Singida, Iringa and Tabora; 5. Mtwara which will involve applicants from Mtwara, Lindi and Ruvuma; 6. Mbeya which will involve applicants from Mbeya, Songwe and Rukwa; 7. Mwanza which will involve applicants from Mwanza, Shinyanga, Mara and Simiyu, 8. Kagera which will involve applicants from Kagera and Geita; and 9. Kigoma which will involve applicants from Kigoma and Katavi. 1 Special arrangements have been made for job applicants with special needs who have successfully been called for the written selection interview so that they can conduct the interview without any hassle. This recruitment process will be conducted by a Consultant and the Authority will closely monitor it to ensure fairness to all applicants. We also call on all job applicants to prepare well at all stages of the interview in order to perform well in the examinations and ultimately be employed by the Tanzania Revenue Authority. Applicants who pass the written selection interview will be called for an interview on a date, time and venue to be notified later.
