SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a Tanzanian citizen.
  2. Hold a Certificate of Secondary School Education (CSSE).
  3. Have successfully passed the VETA Level 2 examination and obtained a Vocational Certificate Level II (VC2) in a relevant trade or occupation.
  4. Be not over 28 years old.
  5. Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

AVAILABLE TRADES & TRAINING CENTERS

CPP invites eligible Level Two VETA graduates to apply for a fully funded Level Three VETA Certificate in the following trades:

  • Electrical Installation – VETA Moshi
  • Design, Sewing & Cloth Technology – VETA Arusha
  • Plumbing and Pipe Fitting – VETA Moshi
  • Motor Vehicle Mechanics – VETA Moshi
  • Welding and Metal Fabrication – VETA Moshi

PROGRAM DURATION

The scholarship program runs for 12 months, covering:

  • Theoretical and practical institutional training
  • Industrial practical training / field attachment

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Scholars are required to:

  • Attend the vocational training programme on a full-time basis.
  • Attend industrial field attachment for practical experience.
  • Sit for internal assessments and examinations.
  • Abide by VETA students’ rules and regulations.
  • Reside at the VETA Center premises full-time.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants must submit:

  1. An application letter stating the trade/occupation of interest and intention to join Level 3 at VETA.
  2. Copies of CSSE and VC2 VETA Certificate or result slip indicating VC2.
  3. A stamped introduction letter from the Village/Ward Executive Officer as proof of residence.
  4. A copy of National ID (NIDA) or NIDA Number, Birth Certificate, or Passport.
