Responsibilities
- 1. Support Across IT Functions:
Assist in various IT functions as directed by the Senior IT Officer.
Collaborate with team members to address diverse IT-related tasks.
2. Hardware and Software Support:
Provide support for hardware and software-related issues.
Assist in troubleshooting problems and escalating issues when necessary.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation for IT processes and activities.
Generate reports on support activities and task completion.
4. User Assistance:
Assist end-users with IT-related queries and issues.
Provide guidance on basic IT procedures and best practices.
5. Procurement Support:
Support the procurement process for IT devices and software.
Assist in vendor communication and order tracking.
6. Asset Management Assistance:IT Officer – General Support 2
Contribute to maintaining an inventory of IT assets.
Assist in tracking and managing IT assets in collaboration with the Senior IT
Officer.
7. Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with team members and other departments as needed.
Communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders.
8. Training and Development:
Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills.
Stay informed about IT industry trends and updates.
9. Ad Hoc Tasks:
Undertake ad hoc tasks and assignments as directed by the Senior IT
Officer.
Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to team goals.
