Empowerment of Marginalized Communities (E-MAC) Tanzania, a registered non- governmental organization with registration number 0000NGO00006226, operating in both mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar, since its establishment in 2013, E-MAC has been dedicated to supporting marginalized communities by providing them with opportunities for development in various sectors including water, sanitation and hygiene, environment, health, youth and employment.

Job Description: Technical and Vocational Skills Intern Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Technical and Vocational Skills Intern Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Technical and Vocational Skills Intern Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and managing our initiatives aimed at enhancing technical and vocational skills among marginalized communities. Your responsibilities will include planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on various technical and vocational training programs. You will work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure programs are executed efficiently and effectively. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that make a real difference in the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement technical and vocational training activities according to the program plan.
  • Monitor the progress of training programs and prepare regular reports.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and team members to ensure successful execution of training sessions.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial management for training programs.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to training programs.
  • Conduct field visits and provide on-ground support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
  • Participate in evaluations of training programs and incorporate lessons learned into future initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s    degree    in    Technical    Education,    Vocational    Training,    Project Management, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Commitment to the organization’s mission and values.

Location: Morogoro

Duration: Three (3) months with possible extension
