1. Laboratory Scientist (1 Position)

Job Summary:
The Laboratory Scientist will perform routine and experimental laboratory tests, mainly in Immunology and Molecular Biology, following SOPs, ISO 15189 standards, GCP, and GCLP requirements. The role is essential in generating reliable and precise data for scientific investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyses in Immunology and Serology.

  • Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, ISO 15189, GCP, GCLP, and safety manuals.

  • Manage sample collection, storage, and documentation.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

  • Participate in quality control, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and protocol writing.

  • Train and collaborate with staff, students, and interns.

Job Summary:
IHI seeks a Research Officer (Internship) under the CTCEL Project. The role involves supporting data collection, management, and analysis while engaging communities to ensure their perspectives are incorporated into research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research.

  • Collect, analyze, and manage data.

  • Assist with stakeholder interviews and training of research assistants.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Job Summary:
The Research Officer (MD) will work under the CDCI unit at IHI. The Medical Doctor will play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with HIV and/or Tuberculosis while contributing to research and clinical activities at SFDRH.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat PLHIV and TB patients according to national and local guidelines.

  • Provide health education and adherence counseling.

  • Maintain proper patient documentation and reports.

  • Participate in ward rounds, consultations, and scientific meetings.

  • Contribute to IHI and partner-led research activities.
