Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of innovative plastic packaging solutions in East Africa. Driven by its commitment to operational excellence, customer satisfaction as part of their continued growth, and focus on operational efficiency, they are looking for a proactive Logistics Executive to join their dynamic team. This role will be responsible for coordinating logistics and fleet management, ensuring customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement in fleet performance and operational efficiency.

2. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle invoicing and logistics operations using ERP systems.
  • Coordinate with sales team for smooth deliveries.
  • Monitor truck performance: km per trip, trips per truck, fuel efficiency, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Prepare and review logistics performance reports.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery operations.
  • Relevant experience in logistics operations and ERP handling.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to monitor, track, and improve fleet performance.

3. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in warehouse/inventory management (preferably in raw materials).
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
