Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of innovative plastic packaging solutions in East Africa, driven by its commitment to operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. To strengthen the supply chain operations, they are looking for a dedicated and organized Warehouse Executive to join their dynamic team. This role will be responsible for supervising raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials, ensuring efficient warehouse operations through best practices and inventory management.

2. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and implement the FIFO (First In, First Out) system.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure minimum and maximum thresholds are maintained.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for timely stock arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate stock control and reordering schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and storage procedures.
  • Relevant experience in warehouse/raw material management.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory and stock control systems.

3. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in engineering/technical stores.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement policies and supply chain best practices.
  • Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
