1. Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies (FOCB)
Position: Assistant Lecturer (3 Posts) – Re-advertised
Reports To: Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary:
Assist senior staff in conducting teaching, research, and public service (including consultancy).
Positions and Qualifications:
a) Assistant Lecturer (Accounting) – 1 Post
- Master’s in Business Administration (Accounting or Accounting and Finance).
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Accounting) or Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance.
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor’s), 4.0 (Master’s).
b) Assistant Lecturer (Health Services Management) – 2 Posts
- Master’s in Health Services Management, Public Health, Epidemiology & Biostatistics, or Health Systems Management.
- Bachelor’s in Health Services Management or related fields.
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor’s), 4.0 (Master’s).
Position: Lecturer (Human Resource Management) – 1 Post (Re-advertised)
Reports To: Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary:
Conduct teaching, research, and public service activities including consultancy.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Human Resource Management.
- Master’s in HRM or MBA with specialization in HRM.
- Bachelor’s in HRM or Business Administration (HRM).
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor’s), 4.0 (Master’s).
- Experience in higher education is an added advantage.

Position: Assistant Lecturer (Physics) – 1 Post
Reports To: Dean, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences

Job Summary:
Assist senior staff in teaching, research, and public service.
Qualifications:
- Master’s in Physics.
- Bachelor’s in Science with Education (Physics).

3. School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPH)
Position: Lecturer (Pharmacy) – 3 Posts (Re-advertised)
Reports To: Dean, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary:
Conduct teaching, research, and consultancy in one of the following areas:
- Unit Processes & Pharmaceutical Calculations
- Pharmacotherapy
- Pharmacognosy
Qualifications:
- PhD in Pharmacy.
- Master’s in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, or related field.
- Bachelor’s in Pharmacy.
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor’s), 4.0 (Master’s).
- Experience in tertiary education is an advantage.

4. School of Nursing (SoNU)
Position: Assistant Lecturer – 1 Post
Reports To: Dean, School of Nursing
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary:
Assist senior staff in teaching, research, and consultancy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s in Nursing or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s in Nursing.
- Must be registered with TNMC.
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor’s), 4.0 (Master’s).

5. Finance Department
Position: Accounts Assistant – 1 Post
Reports To: Bursar
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary:
Assist in finance administration and office operations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Accounting or NAD Part I/II.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance-related duties.
Main Duties:
- Handle receipts and payments (cash/cheques).
- Maintain accurate accounting records.
- Prepare reconciliations and balance ledger accounts.
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

6. Centre for Information and Communication Technology (CICT)
Position: ICT Technician – 1 Post
Reports To: Director, CICT
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary:
Assist in ICT maintenance, installation, and support.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in ICT, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Hardware, software, and networking skills are an added advantage.
Key Duties:
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
- Perform software updates and system upgrades.
- Maintain and repair ICT equipment.
- Support staff and students with ICT-related issues.
- Ensure data security and backup.
- Support ICT projects and implementation.
Salary Scale: As per SJUT Scheme of Service

7. Directorate of Human Resource Management and Administration (DHRMA)
Position: Office Management Secretary – 1 Post
Reports To: Director, DHRMA
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary:
Assist executive offices with office management and secretarial duties.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies or equivalent.
- Proficiency in shorthand (English & Kiswahili), typing, and computer applications.
- Experience in a high-profile office is an added advantage.
Key Duties:
- Typing and handling correspondence.
- Managing filing and documentation.
- Receiving visitors and handling calls.
- Arranging meetings, appointments, and travel bookings.
- Handling confidential matters professionally.
