What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for maximizing sales revenue by working through and with distributors, dealers, and other partners within an assigned territory. You’ll ensure continuous availability of products, drive execution excellence, and grow customer loyalty — while identifying opportunities to strengthen the distribution chain and optimize performance.
This role requires strong collaboration with distribution partners, data-driven decision-making, and a proactive approach to achieving sales and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets through distributors, dealers, and resellers within the assigned territory.
- Implement and monitor sales and distribution activities across the region.
- Ensure continuous product availability and optimal distribution coverage.
- Manage branding and promotional materials to enhance visibility and build dealer and customer loyalty.
- Identify trade promotion opportunities and recommend actions to management.
- Support and oversee execution of promotional campaigns in the territory.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide reports with recommendations for action.
- Support distribution partners in developing and executing action plans aligned with sales targets.
- Coach, train, and monitor dealer staff to enhance performance and product knowledge.
- Ensure adherence to retail execution and distributor operating standards — including availability, stocking, pricing, and retail POS presentation.
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales trends and dealer performance.
- Provide regular market intelligence reports on competitor activities and market dynamics.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales Management, or related field.
- Proven ability to work under pressure with short-term sales targets.
- Strong integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to thrive in a performance-driven organization.
- Valid and clean driving license.
- Strong understanding of Vodacom/Vodafone products, services, and pricing structures.
- Business acumen with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.
