Fleet Supervisor Job Description
Location: Dar es Salaam
Experience: 1–3 years
Industry: Logistics & Transportation
We’re looking for a Fleet Supervisor to support operations team in managing and optimizing fleet performance across the logistics network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily fleet operations and vehicle schedules.
- Support in maintaining an efficient and cost-effective fleet.
- Ensure proper documentation, dispatching, and vehicle tracking.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and follow up on repairs to reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with drivers, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth logistics execution.
- Prepare fleet performance reports and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a logistics or transport environment.
- Strong coordination, organization, and planning skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and fleet tracking systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
