📋 Position Overview
The Pharmacy Technician will support the pharmacist in daily operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate dispensing of medications. This role requires a licensed professional with strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient care.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
– Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions
– Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering of medicines
– Provide guidance to patients on proper medication use under pharmacist supervision
– Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and controlled substances
– Ensure compliance with Tanzania Pharmacy Council regulations and Nulife Health Care Centre policies
– Support the pharmacy team in delivering excellent customer service
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
– Valid Pharmacy Technician License from the Tanzania Pharmacy Council
– Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technology from a recognized institution
– Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting (preferred)
– Strong organizational and communication skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
– Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
