BRAC Maendeleo Tanzania: Call for Psychosocial Support Services
BRAC Maendeleo Tanzania (BMT) is seeking a reputable and technically qualified service provider to deliver Psychosocial Support (PSS) Services for its staff. This initiative is designed to strengthen staff wellbeing, promote mental health awareness, and enhance workplace resilience as part of BMT’s duty of care.
Scope of Services
The selected provider will be expected to undertake the following:
- Staff Counselling: Provide individual and group sessions (onsite or virtual) for staff across all locations.
- Crisis Intervention: Offer support to staff facing acute stress or trauma on an as-needed basis.
- Capacity Building: Conduct periodic mental health awareness sessions and stress management workshops (Monthly/Quarterly).
- Workshops & Webinars: Facilitate sessions on resilience, work-life balance, and burnout prevention.
- Assessments & Referrals: Perform psychosocial assessments and refer staff to specialized professionals or hospitals where necessary.
- Strategic Advice: Offer technical advice to the Senior Management Team on mental health trends and recommend practical actions to improve the workplace.
Minimum Requirements
Interested providers must possess the following qualifications:
- Registration: Must be legally registered to operate in Tanzania and provide mental health services (Business License, TIN, Medical Board certificates).
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the field, specifically providing services to large institutions like NGOs or INGOs.
- Scale: Proven capacity to provide professional services to approximately 730 employees across BMT’s program locations.
- Delivery: Ability to deliver both in-person and remote sessions to ensure accessibility.
- Reporting: Strong analytical and reporting skills to provide periodic updates to management.
Submission Guidelines
Interested service providers are required to submit both a Technical and Financial Proposal including:
- Proof of business ownership or registration (BRELA).
- Memorandum and Article of Association.
- TIN Certificate and VAT Registration Certificate (VRN).
- Valid Business License and Latest Tax Clearance Certificate from TRA.
- Detailed company profile and CVs of key personnel.
- Evidence of previous experience with at least three (3) contactable references.
- Audited financial statements for the latest two years.
Contract Details & Submission
- Contract Duration: 12 months (January to December 2026), with the possibility of extension.
- Deadline: 15th January 2026 at 1700 hours East Africa Time (GMT+3).
