1. Dereva II (Driver II)
- Number of Positions: 4
- Key Duties:
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety.
- Transport staff to various work locations.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain a log book for all trips.
- Collect and distribute various documents.
- Clean the vehicle.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor.
- Qualifications:
- A Form IV (O-Level) certificate.
- Possess a valid driver’s license of class ‘C’ or ‘E’.
- At least one year of experience driving without causing accidents.
- Must have completed a basic driving course from VETA or another government-recognized institution.
- Salary Scale: TGS – B
2. Mwandishi Mwendesha Ofisi II (Office Management Assistant II)
- Number of Positions: 3
- Key Duties:
- Type letters, reports, and both general and confidential documents.
- Receive visitors, listen to their concerns, and direct them to the appropriate office.
- Keep records of events, appointments, visitors, meeting dates, and the supervisor’s work schedule.
- Retrieve files and documents needed for work tasks.
- Receive and distribute files to relevant officers within the department/unit.
- Collect, store, and return files and documents to their designated locations.
- Prepare notes and make arrangements for various meetings.
- Prepare a list of office supply needs.
- Qualifications:
- A Form IV (O-Level) or Form VI (A-Level) certificate.
- Possess a Diploma (NTA level 6) in Secretarial Studies from a government-recognized college.
- Proficiency in shorthand for both Kiswahili and English at 100 words per minute.
- Proficiency in office computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, and Publisher.
- Salary Scale: TGS – C
3. Msaidizi wa Kumbukumbu Daraja la II (Records Assistant Grade II)
- Number of Positions: 4
- Key Duties:
- Register incoming and outgoing mail.
- Distribute files to action officers.
- Receive files returning to the registry from action officers.
- Retrieve records/documents/files as needed by action officers.
- Return files to their appropriate storage locations (ranks/filling cabinets).
- Track the movement of files within the institution.
- Qualifications:
- A Form IV (O-Level) or Form VI (A-Level) certificate.
- Possess a Diploma (NTA level 6) in Records Management from a government-recognized college.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Salary Scale: TGS – C
