MISSIONS :

Location: Dar Es Salam, Tanzania

Scope of countries: Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Tanzania

HR Operations

Contract preparation/drafting

Payroll management support and liaison with payroll providers

Leave/absence tracking

Follow-up of temporary employees and liaison with temporary employment agency

Centralization and update of employees’ documents

On-boarding of employees

Launch and follow-up of mobility procedures (immigration/detachment)

Support on benefits issues (choice of mutual insurance, etc.) if required.

HR Compliance

Compliance of HR (including health & safety) issues with respect to labor law for countries in the scope & the Group’s objectives

Ensure compliance on individual and collective social issues

Define and implement internal regulations where necessary, and ensures that they are properly applied (including disciplinary measures).

Carry out specific audits (payroll, leave, temporary staff) and associated improvement plans.

Ensure HR processes and actions are in line with ISO standards, contribute to the preparation of ISO audits if needed

Individual and collective labor relations/Social climate

Guarantor of the social climate

Liaising with staff representatives where necessary

Management and monitoring of litigations/disputes

Reporting and deployment of Group processes

Update and ensure the reliability of data in our HR Information system (entries/leavings, employees files, medical check-ups, etc.) with the support of local contacts (admin/finance manager) in the area.

KPI reporting

Deployment and monitoring of Group HR development processes (performance appraisals, training, talent development, etc.) and tools for the area.

Projects

Participation & deployment of projects, harmonization of practices across the area.

PROFILE :

Degree in human resources, Bac + 5 or equivalent.

8/10 years’ experience in an HR position with an international dimension.

Knowledge of labor law, international HR legislation and multicultural practices in the area.

Ability to work in a dynamic, intercultural environment.

Ability to work independently and proactively in a complex environment.

Excellent communication, leadership and change management skills.

French is a plus
