Job Description

  1. Assist in Product Development: Collaborate with product managers to design and enhance CIB products, ensuring they meet customer needs and market demands.
  2. Market Research: Conduct research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings, translating insights into actionable product enhancements.
  3. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with teams across marketing, IT, and operations to ensure alignment of product objectives and timelines.
  4. 5. Monitor Product Performance: Track product performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and ensure product quality.

Customer Support: Address product-related inquiries and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Timely delivery and implementation of cash management solutions/services and other products to customers with a view to keeping customers satisfied and banking with us
  • Provide continuous and consistent clients’ guidance, product support and assistance via calls, visits and virtual modes to make sure clients increase volumes with us using our solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders involved in the delivery of the client’s “whole” product experience, to deliver measured improvement in product delivery from service, productivity and risk management perspectives.
  • Provide quarterly competitor intelligence and regulatory information to reinforce our competitive edge on product and pricing strategies
  • Support in conducting training and providing sales tools for new product and promotion launches
  • Develop product pricing strategies to drive product adaptation, revenue growth and competitiveness in the market
  • Review of product income analysis prepared by MI & Analytics team/finance and present to Senior manager BI & MI.
  • Manage the development, approval, training, and communication of new products/product changes and their associated customer, operational, system, & process impacts to the various internal organizations
  • Assist in providing a roadmap for Product Lifecycle Management
  • Monitor product performance, analyze key performance metrics and make data driven decisions to enhance product profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Continually collect feedback from clients, competitors, regulators and colleagues on how better the bank could offer best innovative solutions to get more value
  • Lead product enhancements/amendments and Change requests to improve service and create world class watertight client experience
  1. PRODUCT GOVERNANCE AND CONTROL

Prepare monthly tariff reports to identify errors and deviations

Create new/review existing Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for all products.

Income leakage management forum to ensure correct mapping and income flows from products.

Product profitability models and ongoing margin management to ensure a correct focus on profitability.

Work with Risks & Compliance department as a key champion to adhere the product launch processes across the bank (all departments).

Perform data analysis and market trends to design/revamp new/existing products

  1. PRODUCT TRAINING
  • Identify product training needs or skills gaps and ensure that Exim Learning & Development Unit are made aware of the training needs
  • Source training material for products.
  • Conduct formal training on products as required.
  • Customer product awareness
  • Staff training and education.
  1. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum experience of 2-5 yrs on product and Cash Management solutions in banking Industry
  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business, marketing and Information Technology.
  • Experience in product development
