| Role Mission | Support and enable the Tanzania Country Office operations by safeguarding resources and ensuring efficient management, risk-informed end-to-end planning, budgeting, and reporting. |
โจ Key Accountabilities (Selected Highlights)
The role focuses on the efficient, effective, and compliant utilization of funds and involves three main areas:
1. Budget Planning and Management

Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures for budget and programming activities.

Contribute to the compilation, preparation, and revision of various budget plans.

Monitor WFPโs corporate systems to ensure budget-supporting documents are accurate and in line with recommendations.

Participate in Country Strategic Plan (CSPs)/Regional Bureau Plan (RBPs) closure activities.
2. Pipeline Management
-
Collate commodity pipeline requirements, including Advance Financing requests.

Prepare monthly pipeline reports and monitor resource pipeline across all transfer modalities (Food, Cash Based Transfers, Capacity Strengthening, and Service Delivery).

Participate in the monthly, cross-functional pipeline working group to proactively discuss resource availability and shortfalls.
3. Funds, Grants Management
-
Advise spending units on the timely and appropriate programming and utilization of funds, aligned with funding proposals and donor conditions.

Monitor fund sub allotments to avail funds to spending units for timely commitment.

Coordinate and consolidate inputs for the Country Office Resource Management Committee (RMC).

Contribute to the preparation of interim, progress, and final reports as stipulated in contribution agreements.
