We are looking for a motivated, friendly, reliable and trust worthy Cashier to join our team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Responsibilities:

  •     Greet customers and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  •     Scan and process customer purchases accurately and efficiently.
  •     Collect payments in cash, credit card, or mobile money (if applicable).
  •     Issue receipts, change, and refunds.
  •     Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  •     Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
  •     Assist customers with product inquiries and basic troubleshooting.
  •    Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in cash handling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations (cash register system).
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili (a plus).
