Corporate Communication Trainee

What this position is about – Purpose

•    Internal communication – Support the execution of strategic, timely and effective internal communications aligned with planned ASP.
•    Corporate Affairs related tasks – Support coordination and communication of Corporate Affairs related activities and tasks.

What will you do – Responsibilities:

Management of the JTI Tanzania Communication calendar, tracking and updating to ensure all planned activities are executed according to the plan.
Develop and deliver timely internal communication with relevant information throughout all available company platforms with defined TAT.
Ensure accessibility for all JTI Tanzania employees that will enable them to receive timely company information.
Conduct monthly assessment with Team leads to support their teams to enroll on all available platforms (My Mobile, WhatsApp Groups, Bulk SMS etc.)
Management of Nyota Newsletter publication.
Support coordination and communication of Corporate Affairs related activities such as stakeholder engagement, Community Investment & Social Programs.
Any other duties reasonably requested by management.

  • University Bachelor Degree in related field
  • Excellent knowledge and competence in corporate communication
  • 1 or more years of relative experience is added advantage
  • Advanced level in application of MS word
  • Excellence in public speaking
