Our client, a reputable Healthcare Company in Tanzania, is seeking a dedicated and well-organized HR and Admin Officer to oversee administrative functions, ensure smooth operations, and support effective implementation of company policies.
The Admin Officer will play a key role in HR management, staff welfare, compliance with statutory regulations, and overall office coordination. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, solutions-focused individual capable of handling both administrative and HR responsibilities with professionalism.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement the company’s HR policies and ensure employee compliance with bylaws.
- Prepare employee assessment reports and conduct periodic performance appraisals.
- Coordinate staff training and development programs.
- Manage staff attendance, workplace productivity, and resolve grievances.
- Organize monthly staff meetings and maintain effective communication.
- Assist in preparing monthly payroll and ensure statutory compliance.
- Enforce staff rules, regulations, and disciplinary measures.
- Maintain and update employee records and files.
- Act as Company Secretary, handling all corporate affairs and statutory matters.
- Liaise with government officials regarding compliance requirements.
- Supervise staff welfare, medical affairs, and grievance handling.
- Schedule and prepare agendas for management meetings.
- Conduct departmental follow-up meetings and report directly to the Managing Director.
- Perform general administrative tasks as assigned.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- At least a BSc Degree in Human Resource/Business/Hospital/Health Management.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Management field (preferably in healthcare or related industries).
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities in English and Swahili.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of HR software is an advantage.
- Integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in the use of synergies, search for efficiency & performance.
- People leadership and team development.
