Position: HR Officer

About the Role

AKO Group Limited is seeking a qualified and dedicated Human Resources Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company’s HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor laws.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and support HR policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives.
  • Coordinate recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support the performance management process and facilitate staff development programs.
  • Handle employee relations, welfare, and grievance management.
  • Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and internal HR regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources or a related role.
  • Solid understanding of Tanzanian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
