Human Resource and Admin Intern Job Vacancy at Danish Refugee Council (DRC)
The overal purpose of the role: The objective of this position is to assist with general office tasks and to provide administrative and logistical support to the HR department while gaining valuable experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in introducing new staff to all respective offices and help new staff familiarize with external environment.
- Assist in opening of files for new staff and ensure all other old files contain all relevant documents (updated as per organization’s checklist)
- Scan all relevant documents from personal files to be stored in softcopy
- Filing all other documents related to HR & Admin including suppliers’ contracts
- Assisting HR Officer in receiving and sorting of invoices for payment preparation
- Assisting on receiving office supplies and materials (counting and record inventory)
- Assist in store keeping to ensure safety of the office supplies and materials
- Assist HR Officer on distributing and organizing office supplies and materials
- To perform any other lawful duties as and when required by DRC
Experience and competencies:
- At least field training experience in HR and Admin roles
- Good knowledge in Human Resources & Administration
- Verbal and written in English
- Ability to work as part of a team
Education: Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or Public Administration from a recognized institution.
