Job Description

Job Title: Human Resource Coordinator
Department: Human Resources
Work Location: Dar es salaam

Job Summary:
The Human Resource Coordinator will serve as a pivotal support role within the company, ensuring the smooth execution of HR functions for both internal operations and external client engagements.

This role involves coordinating HR processes, maintaining compliance, managing client relations, and providing efficient solutions tailored to client and employee needs.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Client Support and Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact for client queries related to HR
services, policies, and processes.
• Facilitate seamless onboarding of client staff, including documentation, training schedules, and payroll setup.
• Work closely with clients to understand their HR needs and recommend tailored solutions.
• Provide guidance on compliance with labor laws, HR best practices, and employment policies.

HR Operations

• Coordinate recruitment efforts for clients, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
• Manage employee records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and performance
management activities.

• Monitor and update client-specific HR policies and procedures as needed.

Employee Relations

• Address and resolve employee issues on behalf of clients, ensuring a fair and compliant approach.
• Conduct exits interviews, performance reviews, and grievance investigations in collaboration with client representatives.
• Support clients in creating a positive work environment and enhancing employee engagement.

Administrative and Compliance Management

• Ensure all HR practices align with local labor laws and industry regulations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for audits, reporting, and client review.
• Assist in drafting HR policies, contracts, and client proposals.

Collaboration and Process Improvement

• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service to clients.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance client satisfaction.
• Assist in designing and delivering HR workshops, training sessions, and
consultancy programs.

Job Requirements

• Language Skills: Proficiency in English language is preferred.
• Mobility: Ability to travel as required for client visits and meetings.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human
Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 years of experience preferably in a consultancy or client- facing role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Tanzania labor laws and HR
practices.

• Competencies:
o Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion.
o High attention to detail, especially in documentation and compliance.
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
o Collaborative team player with a customer-centric approach
