Position: Junior Accountant – Arusha

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
processing. - Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian tax regulations, including the preparation and timely filing of tax returns (WHT, SDL, PAYE, Corporate Tax, etc.).
- Perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, assist in budgeting, and provide financial forecasts.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and provide all necessary documentation.
- Maintain and manage financial records in QuickBooks and ensure proper documentation of all transactions. Keep up-to-date with Tanzanian tax laws, accounting standards, financial policies and regulatory changes. Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance financial efficiency
