Job Title: Junior HR Officer

Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized Junior HR Officer to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the logistics sector, with a specific focus on managing driver recruitment, performance, and compliance. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient functioning of HR operations and fostering a positive working environment for our diverse team.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
1. Source, screen, and recruit drivers and logistics personnel.
2. Conduct new hire orientations to integrate employees into the company effectively.
3. Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and participate in workforce planning initiatives.

Driver Management
1. Monitor driver compliance with company policies and legal requirements, including licensing and training.
2. Address performance issues, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
3. Act as a liaison between drivers and management to address concerns and improve engagement.

HR Operations
1. Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, certifications, and attendance.
2. Assist with payroll preparation by ensuring all driver hours and deductions are accurately reported.
3. Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Employee Relations
1. Address employee grievances and support conflict resolution.
2. Promote a positive workplace culture and support employee engagement initiatives.
3. Provide guidance on workplace policies and ensure consistent application.
Compliance & Reporting
1. Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies, particularly concerning driver management.
2. Prepare and submit regular HR reports to management, including turnover, training, and compliance metrics.

Qualifications & Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Minimum 1–2 years of HR experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
– Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance standards, especially related to driver management.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR software systems.
– Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
– Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and organizational skills.
