Job Opening: Kiswahili Textbook Authors

The Ambassade de France en Tanzanie and the Alliance Française de Dar es salaam are announcing a job opening for Kiswahili Textbook Authors. We are looking for authors and educators passionate about creating a communicative textbook for foreign learners of Kiswahili.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

• Fluent in Kiswahili.
• Good English communication skills.
• $\text{2+}$ years of teaching Kiswahili (to kids or adults).
• Knowledge of communicative, interactive teaching methods.
• Bonus: experience creating educational materials.

Your Role (Responsibilities)

• Write simple and engaging Kiswahili lessons for adults and/or children.
• Create scripts for video and audio content.
• Design exercises to practice speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammar, and vocabulary.
• Work with the team to keep all lessons clear and connected.
