Job Role:

We are seeking a qualified Massage Therapist with a background in luxury spa services to provide exceptional massage and therapy services to our guests. This position is ideal for someone with experience in a high-end spa setting, possibly with experience in remote locations (“the bush”), who is looking to work closer to home in a similarly exclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing, and manicure/pedicure) in a safe and comfortable manner.

· Maintain equipment and inventory of products.

· Keep a clean and stocked room.

· Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs, and expectations.

· Suggest and promote retail products or additional services.

· Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations.

· Cooperate with and report on the administration on any arising issues.

· Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends.

Requirements:

· Proven work experience as a Spa Therapist, preferably in a luxury 5-star environment.

· Proficient in various massage therapies and body treatments with hands-on experience.

· Strong understanding of the human body, able to identify muscle tension and deliver effective treatment.

· Experience in sales and upselling spa-related treatments and products.

· Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.

· Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with guests professionally and enthusiastically.

· Knowledgeable in recommending treatments based on individual client needs and preferences.

· Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace.

· Positive attitude and commitment to working hard and efficiently.

· Team player willing to support other business areas during downtime.

· Impeccable grooming and presentation.

Additional Notes:

This role is particularly attractive to candidates who have previously worked in remote locations and are looking for a luxury experience closer to home. Candidates should be passionate about providing an elite level of customer service and should be enthusiastic about working in a unique, luxurious setting.

Desired Qualities:

· Certified in massage therapy from a recognized institution.

· Additional certification in beauty therapy or similar relevant field.

· Previous experience working in remote or unique environments, such as luxury tented camps.
