ABOUT THE JOB: MINING TECHNICIAN
Matongo Gold Mine Limited (MGML) is seeking to recruit a Mining Technician to join its growing team.

Responsibilities
- Support drilling and blasting operations by preparing blast patterns, charging, and conducting pre- and post-blast inspections.
- Monitor and report on ground support installations, ventilation systems, and water management.
- Ensure all mining activities comply with safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and equipment operators to optimize production and minimize downtime.
- Participate in incident investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of daily underground mining plans and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of shift activities, production data, and equipment usage.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Mining Engineer.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mining Engineering.
- Strong understanding of mining safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in a mining environment is an added advantage.
