Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for the professional and successful operation of the project. In this role he is directly reporting to the responsible Director Operations
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
The Project Manager is responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
o Providing primary contractor management interface to Government
o Directing technical activities in accordance with terms and conditions of contract
o Ensuring that all contract requirements are satisfactorily completed o Submitting reports and conducting briefings as required by contract o Managing program resources, including financial allocations
o Reviewing activities, schedules, and staffing requirements
o Identifies and adjusts resources to respond to daily work requirements and fluctuating workloads and assigns individual responsibilities
o Managing subcontractors
o Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
o Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
o Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards.
o Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures in cooperation with the QA/QC Manager
o Minimizes exposure and risk on project.
Job Requirements
- University degree in project management or equivalent
- At least 5-7 years’ experience in project management preferably in international service contracts
- Fluent in English language,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess intercultural skills and demonstrate ability to effectively work with all levels of company personnel and external clients
- Must be punctual, energetic, and proactive
