Karibu Camps & Lodges offers a collection of five luxury properties located in Tanzania’s prime safari destinations: Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Tarangire. We provide unique safari experiences, combining adventure with luxury, while emphasizing sustainability and cultural authenticity.

Job Summary:

As a Quality Control Manager at Karibu Camps & Lodges, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing service quality across our properties. In this position, you’ll rotate between our locations, focusing on assessing, analyzing, and improving quality standards in all aspects of hospitality. Your responsibilities will include regular audits, staff training, addressing guest feedback, and ensuring compliance with our brand’s high standards. This role is pivotal in upholding our reputation for excellence and ensuring consistent guest satisfaction at each unique property.

 

Candidate Profile:

–  Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related discipline

–  Minimum of three years’ experience in hospitality, including roles in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales, marketing, or management operations

–  Or, possession of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field complemented by at least two years of experience in a comparable position within the hospitality industry

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Managing Quality Assurance Goals:

–  Coach managers in Total Quality Management

–  Conduct monthly audits for compliance with company standards

–  Drive property quality efforts to meet guest needs

–  Facilitate implementation of best practices

–  Lead process improvement teams for measurable enhancements

Managing Quality Tools:

–  Train in quality services and standards

–  Use data to track and analyze trends

–  Communicate guest satisfaction drivers for our target customers

Managing the Guest Experience:

–  Review guest feedback and implement corrective actions

–  Handle guest problems and complaints proactively

–  Engage regularly with customers to gather feedback
