JOB TITLE: QUALITY SUPPORT ENGINEER

REPORTING LINE MANAGER: NOC MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: OPERATION (NOC)

Quality Support Engineer (QSE) is responsible for supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance execution from RNOC on Telecommunication towers that MP manages and ensures the quality is met. S/He will thus interrogate data and Photo on all tasks that the Field Engineer submits to ensure data integrity, Quality of work, picking up of issues, documentation of issues and escalation as per resolution and escalation matrix.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily reconciliation of tasks executed by FME and ensure the quality is met as per the SOP
• Ensures that the PM team has the necessary tools to complete the maintenance as per the SOP.
• Ensures that PM teams on their assigned sites comply with 1SVM or other regimes as defined by HTX in the monthly PM/FW plan.
• Ensures compliance with the use of SN and other HTT tools
• Create and communicate to ROL a proper plan for FE skills set improvements.
• Pick all site issues reported by FME/ROL on PMWO/PMA Comments and raise site work orders based on Priority SLA
• Ensure all open SWOs are closed completely as per their priority SLA
• Utilization of the car tracking system to validate PM visits
• Provide technical support to FME in case of any technical issue
• Request task rescheduling/closure extension for all tasks that cannot be closed within the priority window due to various reasons, and Lodge task exclusion once closed
• Runs the daily standard day meeting with their FMEs.
• Utilization of the car tracking system to validate PM visits.
• 100% utilization of the site RMS and ensure 100% functionality of RMS.
• 100% adherence to healthy and safety policies

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2 years’ experience as a field supervisor.
• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in Mechanics/Electrical/Telecom from a recognized University.
• Senior field engineers are encouraged to apply.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer with ERB.
• Registered with EWURA as a Class A engineer in Electrical Installations.
