Our client, a leading Truck & Heavy Vehicle Company in Tanzania, is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to drive business growth and expand market share in the automotive and transport sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying leads, building strong client relationships, and closing deals with corporate businesses, government agencies, resellers, and individual buyers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B and B2G sales, with excellent negotiation skills and the drive to meet and exceed sales targets.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote trucks and heavy vehicles.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in logistics, transport, and construction sectors.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with fleet managers, company owners, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain financing/leasing options.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and prepare sales agreements.
  • Collaborate with the after-sales and service team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and regular reports for management.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Management, or Marketing.
  • Proven track record in sales (automotive, trucks, or heavy equipment sales preferred).
  • Fluent in English (written, spoken, and reading).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong public speaking and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to use modern research tools (AI apps, Google searches, Maps, etc.).
  • Creativity, solution-oriented mindset, and workload management.
  • Strong networking abilities with a customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication in English and Swahili.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve targets.
  • Knowledge of CRM software is an added advantage.
  • Passion for the automotive/truck industry.
