Senior Advisor on Public Relations Job Vacancy at Business Online (T) Ltd

On behalf of our client, Business Online Africa is searching for a Tanzania citizen that can cover a role of a Senior Advisor on Public Relations on the matters relating to Tanzania security issues. The candidate will be required to liaison with the Tanzanian government authorities on behalf of the international organization and update the organization in case of any related matters.

SCOPE OF WORK

• The candidate shall monitor the security situation in Tanzania and make security advises when the situation is predicted to become volatile or changeable. This advice includes; a) measures for preventing criminal damage b) measures for road traffic safety and security c) guidance to deal with crimes once such happens.
• Organizational personnel needs support from the Police, the candidate shall help communication between the organization personnel and the Police.
• The candidate shall be contacted immediately and requested to provide possible support and/or advise to minimize the damage and to protect the properties and interests of the Organization personnel.
• The candidate shall follow-up all the ongoing legal cases which involve the Organization personnel.
• The Organization may request the candidate to make business trip outside Dar es Salaam in order to perform some duties hereof, with the travel expenses borne by the Organization according to its regulation.
• The candidate shall be responsible for the following whenever necessary;

1. Provide security for the office, and residences of the Organization related personnel
2. Carrying out security briefing and advises to the Organization related personnel
3. Taking necessary measures to ensure security at the Organization project sites
4. Supporting the procedure for driving license registration for the Organization related personnel
5. Providing other outputs that the Organization will designate with the agreement of the Candidate

OUTPUTS

• The candidate shall prepare and submit the monthly report in English to the Organization offices in Tanzania by e-mail. Monthly reports which include crime waves observed in the month, concrete recommendation for the Organization personnel with possible security measures; and other specific issues upon request.

WORK MODALITY

• The candidate will be required to report to the Organization offices in Tanzania once a week
• The candidate will be required to always be ready to respond to the Organization’s urgent requirements.
• When deemed necessary, the Organization will provide the candidate with necessary transportation to enable the candidate to fulfill official duties.
