Job Purpose

Responsible for growing both Assets and Liabilities (Deposits) of Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients with high-value investable assets, while managing complex wealth structures and coordinating multidisciplinary advisory teams.


Main Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary Relationship Manager for a portfolio of specific targeted UHNW families with complex financial needs.
  • Develop deep understanding of clients’ financial goals, family dynamics, philanthropic interests, and legacy objectives.
  • Conduct periodic business reviews, including monthly, quarterly, and annual comprehensive wealth planning sessions.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively identify opportunities to enhance their wealth strategy.
  • Maintain exceptional responsiveness with a 24-hour turnaround on client inquiries.

Strategic Wealth Planning

  • Coordinate sophisticated wealth planning strategies, including estate planning, tax optimization, and multi-generational wealth transfer.
  • Collaborate with clients’ external advisors, including attorneys, trust officers, and other specialized consultants.
  • Oversee complex trust structures, family office operations, and philanthropic vehicles.
  • Design and implement customized investment strategies aligned with clients’ unique risk profiles and objectives.

Team Leadership and Coordination

  • Lead and mentor a team of three (3) to five (5) Relationship Managers and Assistant Client Service Officers / Relationship Managers.
  • Orchestrate internal specialists across investment management, tax planning, estate planning, and lending services.
  • Facilitate family meetings involving multiple generations and ensure seamless communication.
  • Drive accountability across all service touchpoints to ensure flawless execution.

Business Development

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective UHNW clients through strategic networking.
  • Generate sizable new assets annually through referrals and introductions.
  • Represent the bank at exclusive industry events, charitable galas, and private client forums.
  • Maintain active involvement in organizations frequented by UHNW individuals.

Risk Management and Compliance

  • Ensure all client activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, recommendations, and account activities.
  • Identify and escalate potential reputational or compliance risks promptly.
  • Stay current on evolving regulations affecting UHNW clients.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency with wealth management platforms, CRM systems, and financial planning tools.
  • Strong credit and negotiation skills.
  • Strong strategic business acumen, leadership attributes, and execution ability.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking, Economics, or related fields.
  • MBA will be an added advantage.
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in senior relationship management of Affluent, Private, or Premier clients.
  • Proven track record of managing clients with complex financial needs.
